Kim White was appointed as the National Coach for Great Britain in 1988 before accepting the position as National and Olympic Coach for Norway 1992-1996. He then returned to Great Britain to be the first employed diving person in the federation and wrote the plans for Lottery funding for British Diving.
Kim spent 25 Years with British Diving creating the unique and successful world class diving programme/system they currently have. These 25 years were spent initially as the National Development Manager for Diving, developing the many diving programmes in the UK and focusing on coach education and development.
Kim then moved on to become the Junior Olympic Programme Manager, kick starting a young Tom Daley and Jack Laugher. Kim spent the last 15 years with British Diving as the Performance Manager and focusing on medals at the Olympic Games. Kim has worked more recently as a consultant diving coach and coach mentor at Bergen Diving Club in Norway for the last 2 years.
