Gareth has 25 years of experience as an elite sports physiotherapist including working with British Diving for 18 years. During this time they have gone from a non medal wining sport to now winning medals on all boards both male and female. Gareth has been part of the team that has worked to create a successful, sustainable performance program in the sport. Out side of Diving he has worked in multiple sports at World and Olympic level and has set up a multidisciplinary clinic in London to mirror his work in elite sport for the general public. He is known as an innovator and has lectured internationally on new technology and advanced methods in rehabilitation.

This would be a presentation looking at how physiotherapy support was provided and adapted for Tom throughout his Olympic career from being a teenager to a 30 year old but still achieving great success.
Harnessing monitoring data to inform performance planning – an MDT approach

This would be a talk on how we use various physical monitoring data across physiotherapy , S&C & Nutrition to make more informed decisions while programming for performance. We would describe what can be monitored and how it can best be used in various contexts to improve performance.
